NIGHTMARE Pays Tribute To Late CRIMSON GLORY Singer
July 8, 2011To mark the two-year anniversary of the passing of former CRIMSON GLORY vocalist Midnight, French metallers NIGHTMARE have released their cover version of the song "Where Dragons Rule", taken from the legendary CRIMSON GLORY album "Transcendence". Midnight (real name: John Patrick Jr. McDonald) passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 due to a "total kidney and liver failure." He was 47 years old.
NIGHTMARE has begun recording its new full-length album, "Mercury Rain", for a March 2012 release via AFM Records.
"Insurrection", the seventh album from NIGHTMARE, was released on September 11, 2009 via Germany's AFM Records. The CD was recorded at Peek studio in France with Patrick Liotard and at U3multimedia and Indiscreet Studios in Stuttgart, Germany with Achim Khler (PRIMAL FEAR, EDGUY, MASTERPLAN). The follow-up to 2007's "Genetic Disorder" contains nine tracks, including a two-part concept song.
